The journey of grief is a very long trip.

We need sacred history in our sorrow. We do not grieve for a few months and then move on. The loss of your son, daughter, friend, wife, husband, dad and mom, will all bring lifelong journeys of grief.

God does not get tired of the length of your sorrow and abandon you in your tears.

I am thankful that God promises that he will never leave us or forsake us. God does not get tired of the length of your sorrow and abandon you in your tears. You need to give yourself permission to grieve in one year, five years, ten years, twenty years, and for the rest of your life. Please, have no spiritual or emotional judgment over the length of your sorrow.

We grieve and live; grieve and live
